Happy Monday everyone! It's been like...forEVER since I posted last.
Hope you didn't give up on me. I've been super crazy busy doing "mom" stuff. Well...now I have tons of crafty stuff to catch up on! Yikes!!! I took time out yesterday from cleaning house to create a little something for today's House-Mouse challenge. YAY!
This House-Mouse stamp is called Lavender Dreams. I stamped the image 2x so I could fussy cut a few of the flower sprigs and popped 'em up on foam tape. This time around I colored with Copic markers. Faux stitching around the edges of SU designer paper that was sanded off on the edges. Sentiment is embossed.
I used 2 colors of glitter on the flowers and clear glaze pen on the stems.

I stamped the solid butterfly on the card base with Versamark ink to create a beautiful pattern. Then I made sure to let that dry on the cardstock before stamping the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.
Have you tried using sequins on your projects lately? It's soooo fun! I scattered a few pieces on my card....along with some crystal rhinestones. Beautiful indeed!!!
I stamped one of the other butterfly images on clear acetate with white pigment ink...then embossed with white EP and trimmed. A thin strip of foam dimensional tape hidden under the white body worked perfectly to adhere the butterfly.
Clean and simple strikes again!

- Versamark, White Pigment Misc. - Transparency Sheet; White Embossing Powder; sequins; crystal rhinestones; ribbon; corner rounder punch; foam adhesive; crystal lacquer (to adhere sequins)
The pink and aqua layers were embossed and then sanded off to expose the white core of the paper. Colored with Copic markers. Velvet ribbon and tiny bow made from bakers twine.
I stamped the images again and cut 'em & popped 'em up with foam tape. Totally makes the cards...right?! A small line of pierced holes along side of the sentiment stamped with black Versafine ink.
Simply ADORABLE!

It's the 25th -- and that means color inspiration challenge. Use the picture for inspiration. Create a card or scrapbook page....or whatever. Just have fun!
In the closeup you can see where I added sparkly fluff on the unicorn and butterfly. SO FUN! A few accents with rhinestones that I colored with a Florescent Copic Marker (FBG2) and BA-BAM! Done! What a bright and cheery card to send to a friend!

House-Mouse Monday Challenge #143 - It's All About the Weather!
This week we have a great challenge for you. Anything related to the weather. ANY kind of weather that you like. Just make sure your project includes at least 1 House-Mouse or HM Friends image. I decided to use a HUGE House-Mouse stamp called Special Delivery. It's a stamp I borrowed from my moms collection. Yes...my mom loves House-Mouse too! :)
This pic looks a little blurry...but if you click on it and zoom in...it looks better.
I stamped the image on a Sky Blue cardstock base (from A Muse Studio) and colored a few of the flowers and leaves. Then I stamped it again on white cardstock. Most of the image is colored and cut from the white stamped piece. All the coloring is done with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

I added White Pigment Gel Pen to the raindrops and then covered with clear glaze. While it was still wet I lightly dusted with Rock Candy loose glitter. Then I added touches of the same glitter to the flowers. Ahhhhh...I looooove my glitters! I even made cookies today...and sprinkled them with glitter! Nooo...NOT craft glitter...the kind you can eat
The sentiment is white embossed and comes from a set called April Word Puzzle from Close to my Heart.

I inked up the words with different colors. Colored in "ciao" with a marker. Then I stamped three of the dogs from the background stamp, colored and cut out. To make the twine match, I swiped the ink pad across it -- the same blue pad I used to ink up "guten tag".
The finishing touch was a little orange rhinestone on the dogs collar, clear glaze on their noses and a "woof" dog tag that I metal stamped and punched out. FUN STUFF!
I colored the solid butterfly with distress markers and then stamped. Then I stamped the detailed butterfly stamp on transparency, trimmed and adhered just the center (bodies). After the glue dried, I creased the wings up...just slightly...for dimension. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
I decided to make a short video showing how to stamp the butterflies with markers. It's so easy...and the results...AMAZING! Check it out...

Here's what I cooked up...
Ohhhh....how I love these rubber stamps! It's an Appetizers Set called Clothesline Greetings. These images are by Lizzie Anne Designs. They ROCK! I also used a Cookie Cutters Stencil called Fluffy Clouds to create the clouds on the black cs layer. Using black distress ink with an ink blending tool, it was sooooo easy!
I colored with Copic markers and a clear glaze pen. The towel is paper pieced. The sentiment is embossed with white detail embossing powder.

Cookie Cutters are mylar stencils that measure 6" x 6". Perfect size for cards and layouts!!
I used the stencil and my Copic airbrush system to create the card base. Cool beans huh?!
The images are stamped with brown ink and colored with pencils. I love how the flower and leaves are filled with text! In the close-up you can see I covered them with clear glaze.

I used a Happy Hoppers stamp called Eggcellant. SUPER DUPER CUTE! Coloring is done with Copic Markers. The sentiment is a retired stamp retired from A Muse Artstamps. I also used a stamp from Stampendous called Egglet...and I'm sure it's retired too.
Check out the beautiful colors of Art Glitter that I used on the eggs. It's a great little glitter kit called Caribbean. I sprinkled Meadow FlowerSoft on the ground for more texture . The bunnies love it! :)
It's sooooo much fun to color these images! Most kids love to color...so how about stamping a few sheets full of HM images and let the little ones have fun with them. You could even make a little coloring book to put in an Easter Basket. FUN!!! I hope you have time to pull out your House-Mouse goodies and give them some Easter love. Thanks for stoppin' by!
